FIVE BLOCKS

Picture Book, 8+

For Samantha, the way to reach the coast can be longer than the only five blocks between her house and the beach. She adjusts her glasses, checks that her flip-flops are not worn upside down and empties the backpack for the third time to make sure she has everything she needs: bucket with handle for water: got it! Three plastic blades for playing, two of different size and one to lend: got it! Repellent, bronzer, cocoa lip cream: got it! Two towels, one with hood and a spare one: got it!
She finally adjusts her backpack again and reconfirms once again: to have the flip-flops put on correctly, the right one on the right foot and the left one on the left foot, and then she starts beating palms! Ready to go!

THE UNREAD STORY

THE PHANTOM STORY

Picture Book, 6+

There are all kinds of stories, but the protagonist of this story is something else: nobody has ever read him! When somebody approaches  him, he hides its spine and repeats: “I am a ghost, nobody can see me, I am a ghost”. All this changes the day he finds a girl who does not need eyes to read to appreciate beauty.
This story deals with the issue of access to reading and books by disabled children, with inclusion and respect for differences.
